Santan is a bundle of petite florals lodged in most Filipino home gardens. The petite florals are tightly huddled, blooming together on its verdant bush. The polished simplicity of the Santan radiates in warm bright colors all throughout the year.
Abaca Polyhemp. Naturally dyed abaca and polyester thread from Argao, Cebu.
The Santan satchel was embroidered by the mother artisans from Minglanilla, a town located south of Cebu, and is our first collaborative work with ANTHILL Fabric Gallery.
The artisans who worked on this piece were gathered and led by Lorna, a mother artisan who is passionate about creating hand embroidered designs and patterns.
